Some of the Ministry's Objectives

1.      To encourage women to participate actively in Church services e.g. reading
lessons, teaching Sunday School, cleaning the Church, welcoming and entertaining
visitors

2.      To encourage women to remain faithful and obedient to God.

3.      To train and encourage each other to be disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ and remain steadfast in their spiritual life e.g. praying, witnessing and Bible study.

4.      To encourage women to continue serving God and people according to the
Scriptures by helping the needy in the Church and community spiritually and
materially.

5.      To help other women to have, use and maintain good healthy facilities in their homes and surroundings

6.      To encourage women to be self-sufficient and self-reliant by helping them to have income generating projects

7.      To encourage women, if married, to be faithful only to their husbands and to
raise their children according to Biblical teaching.

8.      To encourage those that are single to live chaste lives.

Profile

When Christ fell on his way to the Golgotha, a woman wiped his face with a towel; an image of Christ remained on the towel. This woman was Veronica, this incident is all we really know about her, and the relic has become her symbol ever since.

Uniform

The Blue color represents the Love that Christ gave to us by carrying the
Cross to Calvary and the response which Veronica made by taking the courage to break through the crowd to wipe the face of Christ. The Ministry is thus dedicated to the provision of acts of mercy to the Church and the communities in which they are found.

The White color signifies the Light of Christ. Since Christ is the Light we,
as Christians, are also asked to be the light of the world. The ministry therefore
intends to provide services to the Church and the communities, to be faithful, live
chaste lives, and active participation. On the day of enrolment, each member receives a lit candle from the priest.
