The students at Polytechnic, one of the constituent colleges of the University of Malawi organized a send off party for the graduating students. The College Chaplain, Rev. Mbanga and his wife attended the ceremony.
The Schools and Colleges Chaplain of the diocese, Mrs. J. Tengatenga was the guest of honour.
It was a colorful function as you see from the pictures. The continuing Anglican Students presented gifts and certificates to the graduates.
The outgoing Chairperson of Society of Anglican Students, John Mdwazika thanked the students and promised they will always cherish the good times they enjoyed while in college in particular the Tuesday evening fellowship.
The college chaplain Reverend Mbanga congratulated the graduating students and urged them to continue further studies because the industry require educated professionals. He also said that for them to compete internationally they need to set higher goals in their different careers.
The Schools and Colleges Chaplain also congratulated the graduating class and urged them to continue being faithful Christians in the economic sector. She also said that they were an encouragement to the continuing students since they have successfully completed their studies.
Students from the College of Medicine also graced the occasion as well as students from School for Health Sciences, Malawi College of Accountants as well as student representatives from the Roman Catholic Church and the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP).
