Mothers' Union Literacy Development Programme

They are evaluating the Adult Literacy Development Programme, which the Worldwide Mothers' Union (www.themothersunion.org) is sponsoring with help from Cosmic Relief.

The Mothers' Union is doing a commendable job among women, and a few men, with this programme.

There are currently 48 centres for literacy in the diocese.

Mrs. Joyce Chitete and Mrs. Temwa Kalimbe are the diocesan Trainers and coordinators of the programme.
