Bishop James Celebrates 10th Anniversary of His Consecration

On May 10, 2008 Bishop James celebrated 10 years of ministry as a bishop.

The diocese organized a big celebration at the Country Club in Limbe.

It was an open air Eucharistic celebration. Bishop Jack Biggers the retired bishop of Northern Malawi preached and Bishop James celebrated the Eucharist assisted by Bishop Christopher Boyle of Northern Malawi.

Also present was the Presidential Adviser on Religious affairs from the Office of the president and Cabinet of the Republic of Malawi. Bishop Jack was the preacher at Bishop James consecration ten years ago.

There was a lot of singing and dancing in the celebration that began at 9am ending at 3:45pm!

Many participants wore a specially designed commemoration cloth.
