The Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi has a mission partnership with the Anglican Communion Office (based in London), which serves as the Secretariat for the Anglican Consultative Council.

The ACC/ACO publishes the official Anglican Web Portal on the world wide web.

And, with initial funding from the grants programme of the Parish of Trinity Church Saint Paul's Chapel, New York City, the ACC/ACO offered web publishing consultation and assistance to global south provinces and dioceses of the Anglican Communion.

We are grateful that this website of the Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi in the Church of the Province of Central Africa was produced for us by the ACC/ACO.

Through this website communication ministry we can directly share news, information and educational resources, that we officially authorize or provide, with Anglicans around the world and the global Internet community.

Our website development partners included The Revd Canon Kris Lee, ACO web publishing consultant and managing editor of this site, and several outsourced specialists, including Internad, Ltd., for technical programming.

About the Anglican Consultative Council

The role of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) is to facilitate the co-operative work of the churches of the Anglican Communion, exchange information between the Provinces and churches, and help to co-ordinate common action.

It advises on the organisation and structures of the Communion, and seeks to develop common policies with respect to the world mission of the Church, including ecumenical matters.

The ACC membership includes from one to three persons from each province. Where there are three members, there is a bishop, a priest and a lay person. Where fewer members are appointed, preference is given to lay membership.
